This is the time of year when we celebrate. We spend time with loved ones, enjoy wonderful meals and holiday treats, and exchange gifts to enjoy. It’s also the season of giving.
For more than 200 residents in assisted living and skilled care at the Lutheran Home, we work hard to ensure that their holidays are merry. We accept donations of items and monetary gifts so that each resident receives personal items, apparel and other gifts that they need – and gifts that simply bring cheer.
This year, we hope you’ll consider supporting our mission: Providing a grace-filled community of companionship where individuals enjoy vibrant living and care at every stage. Your help means more than you know.
When you decide to give, we light up with gratitude!
Each time a donation is made this season, a light will be added to our tree. We hope to fill the tree with lights to reflect our community’s generosity. Check back often, and let’s let our light shine.
Each year at the Lutheran Home, generous community members support our efforts to provide each resident with holiday gifts. If you can support us this year, the list below is a sample of items our residents need and appreciate. Your unwrapped gifts will be accepted at the Lutheran Home through December 19, 2023.

Your financial contributions allow our team to purchase personalized gifts for residents – things they truly want or need. This is especially important for our residents who have no family nearby, and for whom the holidays can be lonely. The Lutheran Home is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and your financial gift is tax exempt. Donations can be made at any time, and 100% of your donations will go toward gifts and resident needs.
